JB Paper Trading Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian-owned, family-run distributor of quality paper and packaging boards, based in Keysborough, Victoria. Although we officially opened our doors in 2023, our story spans three generations in the paper industry — a legacy built on knowledge, trust and long-term partnerships.

Our Legacy in Paper Supply

The JB Paper Trading story began over sixty years ago, when a grandfather helped lead one of Australia’s most respected paper merchants. His work built a reputation for honesty, service, and dedication to local businesses — values that became a family tradition.

The next generation carried that torch, running a successful Australian paper company for more than 25 years. This was a time when printers and packaging businesses could rely on locally owned suppliers who understood their challenges and worked with them, not against them.

But as the years went on, the landscape changed. Large multinational corporations moved in, buying out Australian businesses and reshaping the industry. The result was fewer choices, less flexibility, and an industry dominated by giants who served their own global agendas rather than the needs of local companies.

JB Paper Trading Pty Ltd was born out of that shift — to stand as an alternative. As a proudly Australian-owned business, our purpose is to return independence, competition, and service to the carton board market. We exist to give Australian printers and packaging businesses a fair choice, a reliable partner, and a supplier who values relationships over monopolies.
